A-Plan found a good car insurance policy for me, at a much better price than my renewal from another company whose quote was almost double that of last year.
Another plus for A-Plan is that you don’t have to spend hours queuing on the phone to get through - they always answer promptly.

This is my second year with A Plan. I have had reason to contact them on a few occasions and have been very impressed with the service that I have received. The agents have been really helpful and courteous and have obtained the best deal for me. It’s refreshing in this day and age to be able to pick up the phone and know that your query is going to be handled properly. A definite 5 star review from me and I would recommend them to anyone.

When you speak to them they are helpful and check prices for you. The only issue is trying to get hold of them on the phone, it just rings out. Im always told when i get hold of them that this doesnt happen so i tell them the times and dates.

Have used A Plan for a significant number of years across car, buildings and contents insurance and have always been completely satisfied, particularly with the branch teams. However, late last year involved in an accident out of hours with a EU driver on holiday who admitted liability at the scene. Directed through a spiral of third party accident management company’s ever since and currently undertaking legal proceedings to recover costs. Disappointed for the first time that A Plan has taken almost no involvement in supporting or assisting in such a long process requiring myself to liaise with a several other broker partners at my own time and expense in order to manage a stressful process. As I recently noted at my renewal they hadn’t updated me or even offered a courtesy call in over 10 months even though the current claim remains legally pending. Felt tied to renew in the circumstances but after over 15 years of great service I may feel differently next time.
