Our house and contents insurance renewal quote from the underwriters had risen considerably from last year. I called A-Plan to ask what they could do; luckily I got to talk with a James McIntosh (hope I remembered that name and spelt it correctly). James spent considerable time finding alternative options for me. He suggested splitting the house and contents with different underwriters as this was cheaper, both were with well known insurance companies. Job done, thanks v much James!

A-Plan is round the corner from where I live. I usually do a check online with prices every year, but this year I haven't. May have paid slightly more by doing this but it had not increased significantly this year. Convenient if I ever have a claim

Great service as expected from the Thatcham Branch. I would give 5 stars but despite no claims since being with them the price has increased quite a lot. There was no negotiation on price, but I did renew this year. I will definitely shop around next year if it goes up again.

After being a bit discombobulated by Zurich deciding not to continue house and contents insurance, A-Plan came splendidly and Harry White to the rescue. Only problem was that I found the telephone calls difficult to understand, but that was largely because I have hearing problems. However I do feel there are clearer telephone headsets out there that agents could profitably use. Aside from that, my review would be 5 stars.

No complaints. Been using A-Plan, Eastbourne for years. Competitive insurance prices. I don't auto renew, but always check out the competition . All done on the telephone. Staff are helpful and polite.

Quote received was the same as for last year which was good. However last years was 33% higher to put in context. Having challenged the quote I was told they would look into it and call me back, so it was diappoonting I had to ring them a week later.
