Old building but expensive for what it is. Restaurant is very nice but the standard of catering is very poor. You have to book food before you arrive from a very basic and simple menu. More a BnB than a rated hotel.

We hosted our Happy ever after party at the Albright Hussey Manor on Saturday 6th May. Everyone had a fabulous evening and the staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful, it was a perfect stress free event.
We opted for fresh Italian pizzas as they have an outside pizza oven and the accompanying salads and coleslaw were just fabulous.
The room we hired has a great indoor/outdoor vibe with gorgeous outlook onto fields, it flowed really well.
All guests were happy with their rooms and commented on the beautiful setting and views.
Full English breakfast was very good and the chef was so helpful, he made an effort to come out and speak to us all and even provided a sausage for the dog, the fresh pastries were an added bonus and were delicious..
I highly recommend this venue for any party/wedding ❤️

A fabulous historic hotel set in glorious Shropshire countryside. Staff were very attentive and friendly, both to us and our dog! Lovely bedroom with lots of extras. Only disappointment was not being able to eat there on either night of our stay due to functions.

We stayed at Albright Hussey Manor for one night. Room was very comfortable and clean. Nice traditional decor and our room had a good view of the gardens. Lovely cooked breakfast, friendly staff and only a 10 minute drive into centre of Shrewsbury.

Had my wedding here on saturday the venue looked amazing and all the staff were so friendly and everywhere was decorated to the highest standards
We had the 3 course dinner in the afternoon and pizza party in the evening everyone loved the food

My Daughter had her Wedding here, and it was an amazing day. Really well organised by Emma who was absolutely fantastic at sorting and getting everything running smoothly food was excellent . All staff where friendly and professional a truly memorable day thank you all.

Booked this hotel to save our wedding anniversary from disaster following a very bad booking. Lovely spacious room in the old building with a jacuzzi bath for two people. Although a little cold a heater was provided and once in bed soon warmed up! Lovely hotel and the staff are lovely will definitely come again. Thankyou!

My wife and I booked this venue for our wedding. Can only describe it as an absolutely wonderful experience .The staff went out their way to ensure that the event went without a hitch. Paul, Emma and Lucy were extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. We have received so many positive comments from all the wedding guests. We definitely have no hesitation in recommending this venue for any type of event as the location and the facilities are second to none.

Beautiful tudor hotel in the countryside,little stream housing 2 black swans right outside. Staff were really warm-welcolming and helpful,would deffo return!! Pet friendly, our 2 dogs loved it too!

Went with my family for a 'clan' gathering, 5 rooms booked for a night's B&B + dinner. Really beautiful and historic building. The 2 rooms in the 'new' wing were pleasant and comfy, but the ones in the historic old building were fantastic (unless you dislike characterful and quirky!). Food wasn't being served when we arrived early afternoon, but the chef made up a great plate of fresh sandwiches and chips. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommended, but go for the old rooms!

What a fantastic hotel to visit. Beautiful views, fabulous food, Staff very welcoming, our superior was lovely especially the high up bed so the views of the fields were great,and we could have our handsome dog with us with no hassle. Loved all the history of this amazing building with all the Tudor works and coats of arms. Paul was exceptional and a great host. We both felt very at home here and can’t wait to return for a longer break.

The reception staff were just wonderful and attentive. The accommodation was beautiful and despite ice cold weather the accommodation was beautifully warm. The Christmas meal was a delight.

We approached them earlier in the year after we were severely let down by Madeley Court Hotel. Paul and Emma made us feel so welcome and we wished we found them straight away when looking for a venue! The day itself was so well organised that we didn't need to worry or stress. They set up an indoor and outdoor area for the ceremony to see what the weather was doing and we thankfully had it outside. It was such a special occasion. The wedding breakfast was brilliant. Everyone enjoyed the food. Then, in the evening, the house DJ (again, didn't catch a name) was brilliant too. He knew how to keep the dance floor full. Then, for night time, we stayed in a lovely historic bedroom. We were knackered, but enjoyed the jacuzzi bath! Thank you Albright Hussey team!
