I was at a 2 day event at Sleap airfield so the hotel was only 10mins away got a good deal so was not expecting a great room but I was very impressed.

Our child was on a school trip at PGL, but he had to be carted off first thing in the morning to be at a new school induction day (3hrs away) in the morning. This was the closest hotel, rather than a place we sort out independently. Yet, it was a pleasant surprise. They rang in advance to give us details, and the customer service was exceptional overall. The surroundings of the hotel were excellent, and the room was great.

We were initially going to have a very low key wedding and wanted to hire a small room. However, on arriving at the hotel and meeting Paul and Emma who talked us through everything, we decided to opt for the proper wedding package. They put us at ease, the hotel was beautiful and we got a good vibe. The cost was also extremely reasonable too.
Throughout the process, Paul, Emma and team were attentive, meticulous with the details we wanted and throughout maintain professional and calm.
All of the rooms were stunning & our guests were really happy. We had free rein of the hotel to decorate how we wanted and the food was amazing!
Our wedding day was wonderful and although it rained all day, we still had a splendid day as there were lots of areas for our guests to chill.
I would definitely recommend Albright Hussey as a wedding venue. Paul, Emma and the team were fantastic and nothing was too much to ask.

I stayed at the hotel last night on arrival stunning perspective as you arrive into the car park. The 15th century building is kept in immaculate conditions as is the grounds and the hotel had dinner last night. Absolutely first class food drink and service taking note of the previous comments regarding costs I found the hotel very reasonable with the staff has an excellent attitude and having owned a restaurant and the running costs of businesses. I think the priced exactly where the marketplace is. Thanks again for a great sleep

Check in was straightforward and staff available to help. Room looks a bit old fashioned but really liked the bathroom as well lit with spacious bath. Room supplies were ample.

We were booked to stay here by our company for work. I wouldn't normally review a hotel while away with work but I felt I had to. It is such a beautiful hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic, so attentive and friendly. The food was gorgeous. We had a set menu and there was something for everyone in our party. We all really enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was equally as good. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making us all feel so welcome.

Hotel was very quiet being mid-week. Food was okay and very few staff on shift…However Emma was delightful, going above and beyond to deliver great customer service. Room was clean as well which ultimately made for a pleasant hotel experience!

From check-in to departure the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and I felt that they went out of their way to look after us. I single out Emma for praise and thanks because she was the one we saw most, she looked after us really well, and she and the other staff worked really well together as a happy team!
The room was more spacious than we are used to, clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.
Weekday's Continental breakfast was quirky and original, help yourself from a well stocked cart of food: the weekends full breakfast was excellent . Evening meals in the lovely dining room were excellent, particularly on the steak night.
All in all this is an excellent hotel well worth a visit, and if we are in the area again we'll be staying there!

We (large group of friends), visited Albright Hussey for NYE. It was absolutely fantastic! 3 of us Gluten-free and for the first time ever, we felt as special as everyone else 🥰. The food was incredible, the service second to none, they honestly couldn't have done anymore. We had a fabulous night and cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work including the DJ who did a great job!
The rooms get a 4 stars because they are not the main attraction of this hotel and there's room for improvement however, I would return and stay here over and over.

Great party venue. Food was very, very good especially for a large party. Disco was not bad. The service was good and beer choice okay. Rooms were present and very clean. Would recommend for any function. Outside gardens were beautiful and they even had two black swans.

The hotel has character and the rooms are in keeping with the age of the hotel. Although the decoration in our room seemed dated, it was clean and more modern decoration wouldn’t look right. The staff were friendly and attentive & seemed as though nothing was too much trouble. Although there was a wedding setting up on the morning of our departure, this did not affect us as non wedding guests. Thank you to all the staff we look forward to visiting again

The hotel is well priced and looks amazing from the outside the bar area is good and fairly modern compared to the rest of the hotel, the breakfast room and the corridors are period fitting, the bedrooms are comfy although it feels a little dated, I stayed mid week for work and would stay again if I was in the area but I would say the restaurant needs a bit of updating or some better lighting from the dark panelling. It’s a lovely setting and there are good transport / taxi links into the local town for activities or other restaurants if your staying for a few nights
