We had our wedding here in June and myself, my husband and our guests were so impressed by the venue and the attentiveness of the staff.
Massive thank you to Emma and Paul, who are both extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our day special.
Any question we had was answered so quickly- I think the longest response time to an email was 48 hours and that was in peak wedding season. Nothing was too much trouble and despite a lot of last minute changes, they never made me feel like I was causing any trouble!
The food was absolutely delicious & all our guests commented it that it was the best wedding breakfast they’d had. Ourselves and the guests couldn’t believe how smooth the day ran either. The pizza in the evening was genuinely the best we’d ever had.
The venue set up our wedding the night before exactly how I’d envisioned it and took everything down and had it all boxed away neatly by the next morning which made everything so much easier for us in the morning.
Thank you all so much!! We can’t wait to come back for future pizza evenings and events.

Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky.
The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands

We've stayed at the Albright Hussey a number of times, usually staying in one of yhe signature suites. Unfortunately, on this occasion we were very disappointed in the level of customer support. On arrival, as we'd had a long drive we asked if a light lunch of sandwiches could be provided. The response was no, as there were two functions on thst evening and the kitchen staff were too busy. I later requested an iron and ironing board, only to be told that I would have to collect it myself from the reception, which I did and was asked to return it as soon as possible. We expected a better standard of service for the price that we paid.
We've decided that the next time in Shropshire we'll look at staying in other accommodation.

We had a wonderful wonderful wedding here. Paul, Emma and team were just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Treated like 5 star newly weds, communication great, felt like we were all friends by the time we left and made to feel at home.
From initial communication, to a life changing spanner in works for us which paul and team took on board and made everything easier for us to have our dream wedding. We just cant praise you all enough and our guests haven't stopped gushing about the venue and team one month on. Thank you, Mr and Mrs Ankers.

We just stayed for 2 nights with a Dog. What a fantastic hotel. The place is beautiful. The staff amazing. We asked so many questions and nothing was too much. Our room was wonderful and warm and we parked right by the window. Will definitely be returning to this hotel. The grounds are exceptional. Thank you for making us sooo welcome.

We held our anniversary celebration at the Albright Hussey Manor this weekend and have had the most enjoyable stay. We initially booked the hotel as right from the start Emma's email was friendly and approachable and we immediately felt that we weren't just numbers. A major reason we chose to book here was how flexible the hotel were and how the focus was on our wants and needs rather than the hotel pushing its own agenda. We mainly occupied the older parts of the building and the rooms were individual and a joy for history lovers. We had kept our meal choices fairly simple but even these were cooked and presented well and were good quality. The function room was well presented with our own bar and lounge and an enclosed courtyard where the children and dogs could run around safely. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed. Special mention to the waiting team that looked after us, they were patient, attentive and went out of their way to engage with the children also. All of our guests had a lovely time. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Albright Hussey Manor to anyone planning an event and thank them for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fabulous place to stay, very homely but classy. Food and service was outstanding. Rooms slightly dated but certainly doesn't impact the stay.

Room I was in was dated decor and frosted glass windows. Hotel sells itself as an historic house the room was in an 80’s addition to the property - just a bit soulless but suits if you want anonymity. Perfectly efficient I guess

Good food, excellent service from attentive and friendly staff. The old building is full of character. The restaurant is fine but the bar and lounge area rather let down by clashing neo-classical furniture which wasn't particularly comfortable. The decor in the 20th century extension is tired and sound insulation in the rooms is poor.

Fantastic location nice rooms with good parking
The Continental breakfast is very poor, it is best to go out for breakfast.
The WiFi internet in the hotel is not very good with filtering for example Amazon app dosent work and Mobile phone coverage in the area is very weak
The TVs in the bedroom are very small for this day and age

We stayed here after a wedding nearby and only wish we could have stayed longer! A beautiful manor, with wonderful staff and we felt so at home and relaxed - i'd absolutely stay again if we're nearby! We stupidly booked a twin room, but the staff quickly switched us into a double. We also didn't book breakfast, again, zero issues when we changed our minds in the morning! Sorry for being silly, but your adjustment made us feel so welcome and you run a beautiful hotel.

Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property.
The evening food was fantastic, and there was a good selection of drinks available.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze, and gave me a great history of the property, an overview of the surroundings, and all the information I needed without having to ask.
Would certainly recommend this place.
