My wife and I have had five dogs so far, all registered at Abbey Vets, and not only have we always found everyone there so welcoming and friendly on each visit made to them, they have always treated our pets so expertly particularly our present dog, who has been having quite a few problems just lately, all of which are being handled in the most caring and professional manner.

Went for annual check up/vaccination for my cat Molly as part of healthy pet club and the vet Niamh was brilliant. Molly was really happy there. Had her vaccination, got checked over, and checked her microchip. Really lovely friendly vet :)

We have only used Abbey Vets for the last year having had a couple of kittens starting their journey with us.
The team have always been fabulous. The care, the love, the bonds that are made so quickly at each visit shows the passion that everyone has for the care of our kittens.

The Sound Desensitisation meeting hosted by Vikki and Jo was excellent. They gave good advice backed up by practical, personal experiences. It also was great to know that should further assistance be necessary that their support is there.

The worst moment in a dog owners life...having it put to sleep. And it's your first dog too. So to have such wonderfully professional treatment from the staff at Abbey Vets was a godsend. They had looked after Bailey throughout his eventful life and gave him a calm, relaxed exit that couldn't have been bettered. Thank you Sarah and Serin, you were brilliant.

Today however, I was given blood results quickly in the waiting room. I had questions to ask about my precious cat, that seemed so unhappy with me and my family. But I was given no time to ask questions and not the dignity of speaking with the vet in her consultation room. I was, and am, devastated, but there was no support or advise offered.

Abbey Vets staff have always been so very kind considerate and caring with our Otto. We recently had to let him go after being with this handsome, wilful, loving Standard Schnauzer for 15 .5 years. They looked after him for years and were so considerate and respecful to us in his last moments and allowed us precious time to be with him as he crossed. Thank you all so very much. God Bless you all XXX . Forever Grateful! ❤️

Recently moved to the area and used Abbey Vets for the first time yesterday. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff, very friendly and helpful, from Jo on reception to our vet Zoe. She talked me through the examination and explained the various medication options, letting me know the cost of each one so I could budget accordingly. Excellent service.

We have been using Abbey Vets for many years now. We have always found them to be very kind, considerate and compassionate towards our pets and ourselves. We wouldn’t go anywhere else, we have tried elsewhere in the past since Abbey Vets are not the closest to us but we always come back as the service is so welcoming the moment you step through the doors. They have a genuine thoughtfulness towards our pets and keep us in the know of all that is happening and of costs.

Unfortunately we had an emergency situation with our sweet 2 year old Hamster today and rushed down to Abbey Vets. Sadly, it was too late and our beautiful girl passed shortly upon arrival. Just wanted to give thanks to the wonderful staff at this Centre, the primary veterinarian here treated us and our girl with the utmost care and respect during our short visit - Even rushed out during our ordeal in the waiting room! Would recommend if you’re looking for an attentive and kind Centre who have both you and your furry friends best interests at heart. Thank you🩷
