I just LOVE Thai upon Thames. Thai cuisine is by far my favourite and the food at this restaurant is so authentic, fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.
I have just ordered from here for the first time, and am very pleased with everything. I will be ordering again soon. I had some delicious fish in a spicy sauce, with chicken fried rice and satay chicken on skewers. Everything arrived at my house fast and nice and hot. The quality was well above that of your average take away. The chicken fried rice was not greasy, it was light and fluffy and was decorated with nice little touches such as cherry tomatoes and greens. The fish was garnished with little bits of peppers, and the satay chicken was very rich and creamy. Very nice, 10 out of 10!
First takeaway we have had since moving to the area - it has set the bar sky high!
Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, packed full of flavour - the ginger chicken soup is quite probably the best soup I have ever tasted, do not omit this from your order!

As a local East Twickenham resident, I find the service at Thai Upon Thames to be first class. The food delicious and wonderfully presented.
With a large selection of restaurants in the Richmond, East Twickenham and St Margaret’s to choose from Thai upon Thames truly is a hidden gem.
So this is simply the best Thai restaurant in South West London. We have eaten in many of the locals but none compare with the quality of clean flavours and authenticity served here. We go as often as we can. The staff are a little quirky but it adds to the character of the place. If you fancy a cocktail on arrival then do try the Flirtini, delicious if a little alcofrolic! There is a lovely sharp look to the place and of course they sit at the top of the league for all the food standards. Finally it's very fairly priced. We have just come away from a very special anniversary evening with change from £70 quid and we did not skimp and save!
Try it for yourself, but be warned, it will become your regular, because no other can compare!

My wife and I went there on Monday evening and had a lovely meal of good quality, the staff were friendly and helpful and I was impressed with the presentation of all the food plus the sparkling clean glasses for drinks, the novel hand towels were a nice touch at the end. We would definitely go again. Martyn.
