The Delhi Orchid opened its doors in 2012, the year of the London Olympics – and they are clearly aiming for gold. The restaurant itself is refreshingly contemporary, with a stylish interior, clean white tablecloths and an attractive bar.

The welcome is genuinely warm and the service friendly and efficient. But the star of the show is the food. It’s clear that a huge amount of passion and years of experience have gone into devising each and every dish.

The taste of the beautifully presented dishes is noticeably different, with an extraordinary blend of spices and aromas. The quality and freshness of the ingredients shines through, with even meat dishes tasting wonderfully light and fragrant.

The selection of vegetarian dishes is excellent too, and seafood lovers will be in heaven. From delicate Soft Shell Crab and Wasabi Prawns to traditional Masalas there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.

Delhi Orchid’s senior chefs have years of experience cooking a high standard of Indian cuisine, and have perfected signature dishes such as Orchid Murg Masala, Orchid Mix Non-Veg Platter, Malai Jingha and many more.

And for something unusual, how about Chocolate Samosas? The combination works suprisingly well, they are simply divine and the perfect way to finish a stunning meal.

The Delhi Orchi is without doubt a shining star amongst Richmond’s impressive array of restaurants. Reasonably priced, it offers excellent value for money and Indian fine dining at its best.

The restaurant is fully licensed, fully air conditioned and caters for large group functions and corporate events up to 50 people.
