First visit to Art8 today and had the lovely Peggy as my stylist. The fact that they are an organic salon was a factor in my choice and I am suitably impressed. I am absolutely delighted with, firstly the colour, which is exactly the colour I asked for and the cut and blowdry leaving me with glorious shiny locks with a wow factor. Thank you Peggy and I am looking forward to my next visit.
Following a friend’s recommendation, I booked an appointment at Art 8. I wasn’t disappointed! Joe was hugely attentive, he listened to my concerns and then gave me a clear style recommendation. I really felt like he knew what he was doing and gladly followed his advice. I came out with beautiful highlights and a nice, clean and modern cut. I’ll definitely be back. On top of the style transformation, I was never short on tea.
I came in with orange hair and left with a perfect blonde thanks to Peggy At Art8hair!
Everyone there was incredibly kind and attentive :)
Have and will continue to recommend this salon.

I go to Luli who does a brilliant creative job of my highlights. He also Is a whizz at cutting and made me look much younger. I usually only go to Daniel Galvin for years so he is a jewel of a find and was Rev me by the girls at Neals Yatd who go across the road to get beautified. Brilliant find!
Do you want to have a hair cut that will make you fall in love with a yourself, stay up late to admire the new you’, ? You do? Then This hairdressers is for you, they have had lots of great press this year, the hairressers club I attend and we have really high standards! Whilst I can’t comment on what the general consensus will be as I’m writing this a few days before we meet I can give you my thoughts.
There is always a worry with a much-hyped hairdresses that it won’t quite live up to expectations (so disappointing when this happens) and I did start with some slight trepidation. I needn’t have worried though as I absolutely loved art8hair its Completely Fine from the very first cut! their dressers reminded me in some ways to Other great places also feature a hairdressee who is socially awkward but I really think that has so much more depth and compassion. Luli is a wonderful man which, through its strong cutting skills and powerful storytelling drew me in to His life. We meet him when he is working for a design agency filled with cool, hip people and is the butt of their jokes and subject of their gossip. He works in accounts and whilst he says he’s is fine, he really, really isn’t. His life is empty, he drinks two bottles of vodka every weekend, has a weekly phone call with his mummy, eats the same meals every day and his only friend is a plant in his living room.
ever met his before and has no idea she even exists. Whilst this makes it sound like this hairdressers is some kind of bad place it isn’t – this is an example of luli lack of social awareness and I found it totally endearing. Lui has created a wonderful dresser in Richmond , I fell head over heels in love with him, I loved his quirks, I loved his thought processes and there were moments of complete overwhelming sadness where I wanted to climb into the scissors and comfort him.
This hairdressers I s filled with moments of beautiful sweetness, particularly his friendship with Me which I thought was honest and believable. It would be easy for these moments to be saccharine and cloying but they’re not at all – his genuine regard for his and compassion was realistic and heart-warming. Luiu as a deft touch and avoids veering into mawkish territory. His past is hinted at – there are dark shadows lurking at the edge of the sprat and when the truth unravels it is heart-rending and brutal.
This hairdressers absolutely destroyed me – I think the last one I went to affected me so much was if you haven’t went here, please do, it is a masterpiece). I keep thinking about it and I really want to talk about it (I can’t wait to get to again!) because it is stylish, sincere, and utterly, utterly beautiful .he is Completely Fine deserves all the plaudits he is getting and I am stunned that this is his passion. Accomplished and assured I can’t wait to see what the future holds for his skills. I’ll be giving this place a 10 at the club – something which doesn’t happen very often.
Art 8 is such a great salon with a welcoming warm atmosphere . Luli is a a brilliant hairdresser, especially at cutting short hair. The organic colour lasts well, the coffee is good, oh.. and there is a rose garden. Sue C.
I have been going to Art8 for years since moving to Richmond and would definitely recommend it. I love the way Luli cuts and colours my hair – he really “gets” my fine hair and gives it great shape and style which lasts - I always get complimented on it. Luli and his team are very friendly and professional - the salon has a relaxed, warm atmosphere in a great location.
I've been going to Art 8 and Luli for the last eight years and I am always delighted with how he cuts my hair. There is always a friendly welcome and a lovely cup of tea waiting for me. Great place, great haircuts.
I have been going to Art8 for years - Luli and his team are great - a lovely atmosphere and they do miracles with my hair! I love the organic colours - my highlights and cut have always been done to an exceptional standard. Thank you Luli and team!
I have been a very satisfied customer of Art8 for over 6 years and highly recommend their services. Their organic products are excellent but it is really Luli, Joe and the Art8 team that make the critical difference. They are not only wonderful professionals but lovely people. There is always a warm welcome offering teas and coffees and the hidden garden at the back of the salon is a lovely plus to enjoy in summer with the plastic bag on the head as the colour does away with the greys!
We use Art 8 as a family for many years, since pretty much they opened in Richmond. They are very friendly, professional and skilful people. They are independent and local, you clearly feel the difference with any other chains. I hope they stay here for many years coming by keeping the great work they are doing.
Best haircut in Richmond and possbly West London.
Personalised service, always flexible to fit you in even when busy, and the best men's haircut I've had in years. They really understand how to cut to your head shape and offer a service equivalent to a really expensive salon at a fraction of the price!
Had my girlfriend go to get her hair coloured the other week and she absolutely loved it, the Stylists name was Lauren. She was extremley professional and knew what my girlfriend wanted and the colour abd cut turned out absolutely brilliant definetley recommee to try out this salon if you havent been already and ask for Lauren too!!
I have been visiting Art 8 since I move to Richmond in 2012. I am alway welcomed by Luli's delightful good cheer. He is a real professional, using wonderful organic products. The atmosphere in the salon is restful with a atmospheric buzz of activity. Highly recommended.
I gave up colouring my hair two years ago because I didn’t like the effect of the dyes on my hair. I also hadn’t found a hairdresser to produce the result I wanted. Today at Art8 I have found what I have been looking for – a hairdresser who really listened to what I was saying and produced exactly what I wanted. Lauren, you are a star and I am thrilled with the result. My hair feels amazing! Thank you.
