Before you know it, you’ll be writing Christmas cards and sneakily wrapping awkward shapes whilst wishing you’d bought those gift bags after all but before we wish our lives away, let’s see what’s on offer this coming week. On Friday 20th November, the best little community centre in the west, Canolfan Hermon, will be hosting another of its charity bingo nights – this time in aid Motor Neurone Disease. The last one was such a resounding success that these bingo evenings will now take place regularly so eyes down to make sure you don’t miss any of them! Oriel Y Parc in St David’s will be home to a relaxed mixed-media painting workshop on Saturday 21st between 10am and 3pm. This will be lead by their erstwhile Artist-In-Residence, Linda Norris, and is aimed at artists of all ability who wish to build on their skills and rejuvenate their enthusiasm. Fancy blowing the cobwebs away? Carew market and Boot Sale will be open on Sunday 22nd November with set-up for traders from 7am and open to the public from 8am. There’s something really cosy about settling down for a good game of cards on a cold, dark night and every Monday evening is Whist Night at Pater Hall, Pembroke Dock. On Tuesday 24th November, the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven will be staging a production by Aberystwyth Arts Centre and Joio – Saturday Night Forever is a drama following one night in the life of a young gay man who discovers that swearing off ever falling in love again is easier said than done. House! Crundale Community Hall invites you to join them for their Annual Christmas Hamper Bingo on Wednesday 25th November at 7.15pm. There’s lots of free parking, the Grand Raffle Prize and refreshments available. Who knows what you’ll come home with!
