Wales supports refugees in Greece

Over the past few weeks people in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and across south Wales have been collecting items to send to refugees in Europe. Many of the items have already been sent to the charity 'Syria Relief' for distribution in Turkey. We are preparing to send a container full of much needed items to the Greek island of Kos, where hundreds of refugees are arriving daily. The items will be sent to the the charity 'Kos Kindness'. We will also donate the container itself, as a lack of storage has been a major problem for them over the past few weeks.

What We Need

To do this we need to raise around £5,000. We are organising a concert in Carmarthen and local groups have already pledged money, but it would also be great to have your support through this page. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Any extra funds will be used to send extra items to refugees in Kos or to other places in Europe. We will update you with pictures and more information here and on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/WalesSupportsRefugees

Kos Kindness is a registered charity in Greece. You can follow their work here https://www.facebook.com/Kos-Kindness-159755314181314/

We have set up a Crowd funder appeal to raise the £5,000. Any support you could give would be hugely appreciated. The website link is:
