Surprisingly this week has brought in a warmer front so I am still enjoying a glass of White Wine in the evening.  This Bordeaux Sauvignon  is going to become a firm favourite, the White for now and I look forward to warming winter Sunday Lunches with a glass of the robust Bordeaux Superieur

Wilson Wines have once again come up trumps with their choice for Wines of the Week.

Chateau Pierrail

Bordeaux Sauvignon

This stunning white wine is a blend of Sauvignon and Sauvignon Gris which gives its freshness and aroma.  The very freshness releases itself in a bouquet that precedes a dry and fruity  flavour of well structured wine.
This is ideal with seafood and white meats or simply on its own!

Chateau Pierrail

Bordeaux Superieur

This wine is renowned for its deep dark ruby colour with a strong nose, slightly  spicy  which retains the aroma of ripe berry fruits and subtle toasted overtones of vanilla. Full and round with a good concentration and balance of tannin and an aftertaste of spice. . It is well balanced, long in the mouth, and offers a good potential to improve with age.

This wine would go well with a sumptuous roast Sunday lunch with maybe Venison or Beef on the menu.  Yum!!
