Pembrokeshire County Agricultural Show opens today.
As the name suggest this is the place to see the very best in Livestock.
This year the show is holding the first Welsh National Simmental Championship and a New Fleece competition in the Sheep Show on Thursday.
The equine competitions attract large crowds and this year the ‘Best of the Best will compete for the Supreme Horse Championship.
Pembrokeshire and the rest of Wales are renowned for its local produce and this year there will be over 600 stands showcasing the very best of foods, handmade crafts, furniture, (look out for Mark Stone Handcrafted Bespoke Kitchens) motor vehicles (Cawdor Cars C69 and C180 and Geraint Jones 4x4 D 36 among them), Farm machinery. The choice is mind boggling
You will find you need more than the day to get round them all!

The Welsh Dog Agility Competition is back (why was it ever away?) and this year will be the first for Scruffts Crossbreed Competition!
Children and adults alike love Titan the Robot, the 8ft animatronic and articulated robot together with Lennie the Land Train both will be touring the show ground over the 3 days. For more details on other attractions click here
Watch out for Honda’s official and the UK’s No.1 motorcycle display team, the Bolddog Lings. They have definite WOW factor.
It is also worth a visit to the Countryside Conservation area with regular demonstrations by the Axe and Pole Climbing Teams.
