We asked James Parfitt the man behind Parfitts Carpets and Interiors a few questions to see what makes him tick! Here are the results;

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

I have no problem getting out of bed every morning (after a cuppa tea/ coffee!!).  With the drive and willingness to get things sorted and done!  I know that we will get the satisfaction of knowing that we have helped customers chose the right flooring for their homes or business.

What is your passion in life other than your family?

Rugby, motor bikes and skiing holidays.

What would I find in your refrigerator right now?

Healthy food, home made chilli for tea tonight, lots of juices and loads of fresh vegetables.

What’s the best business advice you have been given?

Push for what you want and engage with clients, which I do with my newsletters and email campaigns

What band/artist do you listen to the most?

My wife listens to Robbie Williams - I am not sure if I should admit that I like listening to him as well!!

As a child what did you want to be as an adult?

I always wanted to be a chef!

Who is the one person you most look up to for business inspiration and guidance?

My mother (The late Mrs Linda Parfitt)

Who is the most interesting person you have met?

There have been very many interesting people that I have met but the one that stands out would be my old scout leader - Mr Sandy Buttle (known by most as "skip”)

If I assembled 10 of your clients in a room and asked them about you what would they say?

I would hope they would say that I am very knowledgable about all types of floorings.

What were you hoping we’d ask you but didn’t?

What is my favourite food/ restaurant? - Seven Spice Indian Restaurant - Pembroke Dock I love Indian food.

Your claim to fame?

BBC TV - D.I.Y  SOS. We have helped out with the floorings 3 times!

How do you de-stress and relax?

Go for a swim, or soak in the hot tub. May be with a glass of wine.

How would you describe your businesses in Three Words?

Friendly, quality, professional.
