A whole weekend of scrumptious eating and drinking and great entertainment is coming up in Narberth in September. The town’s annual Food Festival is about much more than consuming tasty goodies  – it’s about growing food, preparing and cooking it as well as enjoyingconsuming it. And there is music, street theatre and much more besides.

Music and theatre too

This year’s Narberth Food Festival is on September 26th and 27th and the whole town gets involved in this fabulous annual event.

As well as food stalls there will be live music, street theatre, talks and chef demonstrations – plus loads of free activities for children.

On the Saturday events start at 10am and go on until 6pm. Entry for the day is just £4. Sunday events finish around 4pm and entry is £3. A ticket for both days is £5 and under 18s are free.

The music stage will feature a good mix of first-timers and festival favourites, all with strong local connections and all with that Narberth feel-good factor.  Find something to eat and drink (the hardest part is choosing) pull up a seat and enjoy!

Music entertainment over the weekend includes sets from Davey Jones & Dai Wynne, Fiddlebox, Harriet Earis, Kara Watts, Paul Reggie, Sleeping Dogs, Tansy Lloyd-Benson and Tinplate Tiger

There will be an Artisan Market in Queens Hall on the Saturday with a range of stalls.

Some of the best food producers in Wales will be showing their wares over the weekend, including some True Taste and other award winners. They’ll give your tastebuds a real treat.

They include:

  • Caws Teifi Cheese & Da Mhile Distillery - artisan raw milk cheese, organic spirits and liqueurs.

And that’s just a taster of the ones beginning with ‘C’! Don’t forget the cheesecake and the champagne and cider too! Oh and chutney, cakes and crepes!

You can also try ice cream and sorbets, fish, oils and garlic, brownies, wild boar from the Harmony herd, galettes, pasties and pies, traditional sweets, honey, jams, breads, herbs, tea and coffee, ales, beef, lambs, authentic Greek street food,  vegan savoury pies, homemade chocolates, fudge and marshmallows,  seafood and seaweed, pizza, Indian and Asian snacks and meals, pickles and sauces, Spanish paella, gourmet hot dogs, olives and oil.
