One of Pembrokeshire’s best attractions for a family day out will reopen this month offering a great new attraction – and the new lambs are already there waiting to welcome visitors.
There is plenty to do all day long for kids of all ages at Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Frizbee Golf Course. The attraction reopens for the 2015 season on Saturday, March 28.
Easter egg hunting
Adventurous and fun days out for all the family are ready and waiting – and to add to the many popular games and features already drawing the crowds there’s a new crazy golf course at the Clerkenhill Adventure Farm in Slebech, near Haverfordwest.
The new lambs are already out in the fields and over Easter you can go on a hunt for chocolate eggs in the extensive grounds.
A huge variety of activities is set up at Clerkenhill to keep everyone amused all day long from spring to autumn. There are trails, go-karts, Frizbee golf and now a great Crazy Golf course with some fearsome twists and turns.
All the family can test their skills on the Frizbee Course, and there are loads of choices for activities to keep everyone going all day long. The youngsters can tumble down the amazing tube slides, enjoy a fearsome trail through the spooky wood, go on a boggy walk, find the bears, or pedal go-karts. The adventure castle has wobbly walks, lookout towers, hideaways, slides and ladders.
The 18 hole Frizbee Golf Course is set in 10 acres. All you have to do is throw a Frizbee into each basket with the least number of throws. Each fairway has its own par rating and there are many obstacles and challenges to test your skills and to guide your Frizbee through.
Animals at Clerkenhill are always a great attraction. As well as seeing the new lambs, children can meet Shetland ponies and goats or watch the ducks and chickens as they scratch and preen. Children love to stroke Griffin the friendly Welsh Mountain Pony and his best friend, Densil the Donkey.
After all the exercise in the outdoors you can recover with some refreshment in the Old Loft Café, or browse around the gift shop.
