Days out with Thomas to visit Father Christmas at Didcot Railway Centre

The Fat Controller supervises Rev.W.Awdry's classic children's favourite - Thomas the Tank Engine on his ‘Day Out With Thomas™’ visits.

At Christmas Thomas likes to take all his young friends to visit Father Christmas in his grotto. Why not have a ride behind 'Duck' who's also happy to join in the fun?

A wide range of souvenirs is available in the ‘Thomas’ shop.

There is a Refreshment Room serving lunches, snacks and drinks also a picnic area where you can sit and watch the trains go by.

‘Day Out With Thomas’ and meet Father Christmas in 2015 will be on:

Santa Weekend at the Oxford Bus Museum

Station Yard, Long Hanborough, OX29 8LA

SANTA in his SPECIAL BUS : Santa and his elves will be in the grotto on board his special bus, to greet children, who for a small additional charge can visit him and receive a super Christmas present. Free Vintage Bus Rides. Free Parking. Shop and Cafe.

Breakfast with Santa at Nottcutts Garden Centre

Treat your children to a delicious breakfast in the company of Santa himself. A fun-filled mealtime including a lovely present, and perhaps even a story or game with the man himself.

One ticket per child (max 2 accompanying adults per child). Advance online booking recommended to avoid disappointment, though bookings may also be possible instore. Our usual breakfast menu will be available for grown-ups.
