As the nature of beauty pageants changes dramatically this year, with Miss Great Britain owner Liz Fuller taking the competition back to its roots of 65years ago, Oxfordshire can rest assured they have a winning representative in Miss Alice Christian.

Liz Fuller has ensured that the competition has gone back to being about classy, ambitious and intelligent women. The winner of the title will be no fool, brains, carisma and confidence aswell as beauty are key.

Alice Christian, and actress focusing on a career in film and television, was crowned Miss Oxfordshire this month and will be going on to compete against 60 other regional title winners for the Miss Great Britain crown on December 4th at the all new Grand Pier, Western Super Mare, where the competition was held right in its early years.

Alice Christian has done numerous charity work with her new title of Miss Oxfordshire, including posing as Sophia Loren for the month of October in a Breast Cancer Research calendar of 1950's pin-ups. Although bearing a resemblance to the Italian movie star, Alice Christian is British through and through, with her father's perfume company, the producers of The Most Expensive Perfume In The World, 'Clive Christian' being crowned by Queen Victoria in 1872. From an early age Alice has been proud to be British and would make a fabulous Miss Great Britain.
