Young Adult's Employment & Development Worker.
Aspire Oxford are looking to recruit for this new full-time role (5 days per week).
Reporting to the Senior Employment &Development Worker, the post holder will be responsible for managing a caseload of active and move-on clients aged 18-24, offering dedicated support to tackle their barriers to employment and sustain their progression.
The post holder must demonstrate their ability to commit to client-centred, multi-agency, partnership working. The jobholder will be expected to be an effective and passionate representative for Aspire at agency and partnership meetings focused on supporting young adults across the agency spectrum in Oxfordshire (e.g. homeless pathway, probation, drug & alcohol recovery service and education & employment support providers).
Applicants with ‘lived experience’ of a barrier to employment such as homelessness, drug or alcohol problems, or with offending histories, are encouraged to apply.
Salary range is £19,000 to £23,000 per annum. 37.5 hours per week, with 25 days annual leave.
