The Covered Market

Opened in 1772 and undoubtedly one of the jewels in Oxford’s crown, the Covered Market in the centre of the city offers a plethora of shops. Fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, pasta, fish, flowers, breads and cakes. Leather goods, clothes, jewellery, gifts, shoes and hats and so much more! A wide choice of eateries and coffee shops are on offer.

Toilet facilities in Market St., just outside the market.

Only guide dogs allowed.

Opening Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm Sunday.

Gloucester Green Market

A traditional open air market offering different types of goods on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Located in Gloucester Grren in the centre of Oxford

South Oxford Farmers & Community Market and Cafe

A weekly market stocking ethically-produced, local, seasonal and/or organic foods. Also books, clothing etc.

East Oxford Farmers & Community Market and Cafe

A weekly market stocking local, seasonal, high quality food and handmade crafts and producrs.

Open: Saturdays 10 – 1.00 at East Oxford Primary School. OX4 1JP

Headington Farmers Market

Open: 2nd and 4th Friday of each month 8.00 – 1.30 Kennett Road, Headington

Wolvercote Farmers Market

Locally produced fruit, veg, meat, fish, bread, cheese, jams, milk, cakes, chocolate, plants, soaps.
