Job Fair at Barton Neighbourhood Centre, Wednesday 15th July 11am - 3pm

We are delighted to announce that Aspire will be putting on a Job Fair at the Barton Neighbourhood Centre (Underhill Circus OX3 9LS), on Wednesday 15th July 2015, 11am – 3pm. It is in partnership with Barton Community Association, Oxford City Council and Jobcentre Plus and with the support of Renaissance Coaching.
The Job Fair will provide Oxford residents with the opportunity to meet 20+ employers and training providers in the local area with hundreds of live vacancies, and get advice about how to prepare for employment.
Some of the benefits include:
a. At least 25 Oxford employers and training providers with hundreds of live, local vacancies have already signed up for the event. See some of the confirmed companies listed below.
b. A free, supervised children's creche (now confirmed for the full 4 hours)
c. Pre-job fair workshops (free) on Wednesday 8th and Monday 13th July from 12pm-3pm in the Learning Zone at the Neighbourhood Centre. Please get in touch with Martin to book someone onto the sessions or to find out more. The courses will help to banish any last minute nerves, brush up CVs and give people confidence when approaching employers. Support with employment and training questions will also be available on the day, from Renaissance and Aspire.
d. Refreshments provided on the day by Eatwells cafe, again free of charge for attendees.
e. No need to book, free entry.
The Job Fair is being organised in partnership with Oxford City Council and JobCentre Plus. We're very grateful for the support of Renaissance Coaching and the Barton Community Association to help put on the event.
