Jazz at the Movies
13th January 2011
... Comments

We have teamed up with the Ultimate Picture Palace in Cowley to offer you a fantastic night of live jazz music combined with the opening night viewing of Chico and Rita, an animation that captures the evolution of jazz, set in 1948 Cuba and New York City. There will also be informal networking from 6-7pm and after the film about 8.45 onwards.

Tickets are £15 each which includes music, film and free drinks until the sauce runs out! The cinema bar will also be open all night as after the film we plan to continue the music and expand into a full on jam session.

Razzmajazz, a quintent of local jazz all stars, promises an enthusiastic night and blend of all things jazz worthy.

If you're a lover of jazz, cinema or just maltesers....C'mon out and support a great independent cinema and have a chat with Cat and The Best of Oxford for ideas on how we can host similar events for your business.

The Best of Oxford Members will receive an added bonus of advertising their business and services on the big screen before the movie and during the live music.

An extra special piece of sweetness to all on the evening will be trays of various exquisite chocolate truffles available as a taste-a-thon to everyone in attendance. What a dream come true!

We've also got Martin Pope, Chico and Rita film producer, with us for the evening to give an introduction before the film at 7.30pm. We're pulling out all the stops!!
