Is there a better way to spend a blisteringly hot summer afternoon, than to splash in the lovely heated outdoor pool at Hinksey?
This place is just the best outdoor pool for families in Oxford! It's very shallow so floating around for adults is lovely but what is really great, is that you don't have to constantly worry that your little one is about to drown if you loose them - they can stand up and enjoy splashing you! Brilliant!
With plenty of space, tons of roomy changing rooms and the buggy came in handy for balancing a golf brolli on for shade - perfect for 30degree heat!
Oxford City in the summer would not be complete without a day at Hinksey - situated in lovely grounds, with lakes attracting lots of wildlife to spot when the little ones are ready for home.
Also brilliant are the cycle lanes through the parks, the really great play area with slides for all ages, a sandpit, swings and whizzy merry-go-rounds, that the kids find hilarious going super fast and scaring the wits out of parents!
