Across 4 days in early September, Oswestry will - for the first time - have it's own unique programme as part of the national Heritage Open Days campaign.

Shropshire Council's Nicki Young has brought together an ambitious programme of events, talks, tours and exhibitions that are all FREE admission and everyone is welcome.

In a nutshell, there are tours to Oswestry Hillfort, Oswestry Town, Tanat Valley Railway, Llynclys Railway, Llanymynech Heritage Area and Whittington Castle.  There are exhbitions at the Council Chamber, talks at the Memorial Hall, Booka Bookshop and Oswestry Library...and lots more besides.
