For Sue, a “green” salon is really important both for Sue personally and morally. When Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, she was told her “aggressive tumours” contained an above average amount of chemical build up. Once being told this, Sue started to understand why for so many years she was suffering with her eyes stinging, an itchy nose and headaches in the Salon.
After 10 months of working through chemotherapy, Sue set up her own “green” salon. On March 2nd 2016, Sue will be celebrating her 6 year anniversary. For the past 6 years, Sue has ploughed all of her energy into her business and in March 2012, Sue and the team at FresHair and Barbers were awarded the “ECO Award” for the best small business by Norwich City Council. Also, Sue has been recognised as one of the best local businesses by thebestof Norwich and been recognised on the Good Salon Guide since 2015.
During the last 6 years, Sue has continued to invest her time and money into further training course to ensure her clients receive the very best and most up to date treatments/services. FresHair and Barbers caters for both ladies and gents cuts, offers student and NHS discounts, has FREE parking outside and even has a late night on Thursdays!
