Paul Robbins
Former Leicester City Youth and England U.18 international goalkeeper. Also played for Wolves, Notts County and Lincoln City. Now back at Leicester as Academy Goalkeeping Coach.

Carl Muggleton

Goalkeeper who has enjoyed a long career with Leicester City, Stoke and Mansfield Town. Former England U.21 international. Currently Goalkeeping Coach at Notts County.

Ali Mauchlen

Former City Captain who made over 228 appearances for the club, leading from the front and still as passionate as ever about the game. Member of the successful Masters team for the last 7 years. Joined City from Motherwell in double deal with Gary McAllister.

Gerry Taggart

Defensive stalwart during the O’Neill Premier League years. Won League Cup in 2000. Also played for Manchester City, Bolton, Barnsley and Stoke City. 541 League appearances and 51 caps for Northern Ireland. Now Reserve team coach at City.

Matt Elliot

Strong defender who started his career with Charlton Athletic. Finished his career with Leicester having made 239 League appearances and scoring 27 goals. Also played for Scunthorpe, Torquay and Oxford United. Now a member of the Football in the Community team at City.

Phil Gilchrist

Started his career with Nottingham Forest before making his name playing alongside Matt Elliot at Oxford United. Signed by Martin O,Neill for City before moving on to West Bromwich Albion. Also played for Hartlepool United and Rotherham before managing Woking in the Conference last season.

Steve Walsh

All-time City Legend and League Cup winning Captain during the club’s most successful era under Martin O,Neill. Also played for Wigan, Norwich and Coventry City. Now runs Coaching Academy with Muzzy Izzit.

Gary Mills

Made his name playing for Nottingham Forest, winning the European Cup against Hamburg when only 18 years old. Made 200 League appearances for the Foxes and also played for England U.21’s, Derby County and Notts County. Now Manager at Tamworth winning promotion last season.

Paul Ramsey

Defensive midfield player, played 278 games for City, and 14 caps as a Northern Ireland International. Part of Northern Ireland’s 1986 World Cup squad. Started career at Derry City FC, also played for Cardiff City, St.Johnstone and Torquay United.

Muzzy Izzit

Extremely influential and highly skilful Premier League midfield player and Turkish International. Also played for Chelsea and Birmingham City. Played for Turkey in World Cup semi-final against Brazil in 2002.

Gary McAllister

Former City midfield maestro, who went on to win a Championship medal with Leeds United in 1991/92. Moved to Coventry City before signing for Liverpool where he became an influential member of the team to win the treble in 2000/01. Won over 50 caps for Scotland.

Jason Peake

Local midfield player who started his career at Leicester, his home town club, before moving on to have a long League career with Rochdale, Brighton, Halifax and Plymouth.

Dougie Keast

Highly experienced utility player and now non league manager, recently taken charge as manager of Quorn FC. Long and distinguished playing career, achieving notable success at Kettering Town in the Conference League.

Dean Thomas

Manager at Hinckley United and former player with Wimbledon, Dusseldorf, Northampton and Notts County. Club Captain at Notts County and twice played at Wembley in successful spell as Captain.
Won Dr. Marten’s League Championship with Hinckley in 2001.

David Oldfield

Born in Australia, played for Leicester City for 5 years, scoring 26 goals. Also played for Luton Town, Manchester City and Stoke City.  England U.21 International who is now Reserve Team Manager at Peterborough United.

Jimmy Quinn

Much travelled high scoring forward with Leicester City, also played for Blackburn Rovers, Swindon Town, West Ham United, Bournemouth and Peterborough United. Won 46 caps for Northern Ireland and scoring 12 goals. Scored 300 goals in just over 600 League appearances.

Julian Joachim

Pacy striker who started his career with Leicester before being sold for £1.5m to Aston Villa. Played for Villa in 2000 FA Cup Final. Also played for Leeds United, Coventry City and Darlington scoring over 100 goals in 450 League appearances.

Tony Thorpe

Former City Youth forward who went on to play League football with Fulham, Luton and Bristol City. Part of the team that helped Colchester United gain promotion to the Championship in 2007.


Lee Glover

A life-long West Ham fan, who enjoyed a nomadic career after leaving Nottingham Forest. Former Scottish U.21 International. Played in 1991 FA Cup Final with Nottingham Forest.

Trevor Hebberd

Played for Oxford United, Leicester City and Derby County. He retired from professional football in 1995, now a member of the Ashby Ivanhoe Vets FC


Tom Naughton

Highly successful Manager of the Legends and Leicester City Masters winning teams. Central Masters Champions for 5 of the last 7 years, and UK Masters Champions in 2005, and 2007.
