How Can I Donate To The Nepal Earthquake Appeal Fund?

As you will have heard in the news this week, the devastating earthquake in Nepal just 2 weeks ago on April 25th affecting an estimated 8 million people, has been followed on Tuesday this week by another brutal earthquake with yet more deaths and serious injuries.

The British public has now donated over £45m to the DEC Nepal Earthquake Appeal, but much much more is needed to help the people of Nepal.

To make a donation to the DEC appeal please go now to:http://tinyurl.com/dec-nepal

We also sent you an email this week advising you of a candle lighting and fundraising event being held at Everest Dine Indian and Nepalese restaurant, 34-36 Montagu Street, Kettering NN16 8RU, on Tuesday evening 19th May, from 6.30pm.

The restaurant directors are doing all they can to raise much needed funds at their various branches and are organising raffles and auctions while providing a welcome drink and light buffet food throughout the evening.

This is a humanitarian disaster on an unimaginable scale where the urgent need for food, drinking water, shelter and medical supplies has already gone beyond the point of desperation.

Please help the Nepalese people if you can by attending this event and giving what you can.

For details (tickets £25 per person - all proceeds donated to the Nepalese Prime Minister's Disaster Fund via the Nepalese Embassy), please click here:

With sincere thanks
