Halloween is just around the corner and parents will digging out last years costumes/masks for the kids or being pestered to buy new ones in order to celebrate this annual event.

Miniature ghosts and ghouls will be on the streets in force with their trick or treat bags....but what of the 'real' spectres that may lurk behind those front doors or darkened windows, unseen and unheard until the stroke of midnight?

Well, a brand new book on the subject is out this week called 'Haunted Harborough' by local author, Mike Eason. The pages may not c-r-e-a-k spookily when turned, but the local ghost stories inside will start your spine tingling in no time!

The book contains eye witness accounts of spookiness accompanied by numerous photographs throughout, including some never-before-seen CGI images of the mysterious Papillon Hall, of Lubenham. Hear about Harborough's most haunted house on The Broadway (Trick or Treaters, don't go there!) which the occupants share with three ghosts! Read about a honeymoon couple who were terrorised by a ghost in their bedroom, a village sealed off by police due to a pub ghost, eerie footsteps at the theatre and even a ghost of someone who was still alive!

All this and more can be found in the book, best read alone by candlelight at the stroke of midnight! Scared? You will be!

Available from Amazon, local bookstores and all major retailers, or by orders@hauntedharborough.co.uk for immediate delivery.
