Fun at the Market Hall

There was a lot of fun and games last Monday as the electrical job that Joe had been dreading finally began.  The day was warm and sunny and there really was no need at all to be unhappy or worried about a thing.  All safety precautions had been taken and the job was working indoors, where it was warm and dry and friendly.  All he had to do was replace a few electric lights in the Market Hall.  What could be easier?

Well, maybe not having to build a scaffold that was 11 meters high and then climb it would have been a little less hard work!  And as Joe isn’t very fond of heights, and 11 metres is quite high, perhaps life could have been more pleasant for him that day.  He did have young Sam to help him though.  And Steve (the boss) had borrowed Dan from his brother ‘Tim Alden Tree Surgeon’, who was not in the least bit bothered with the height – or the climb.

As it turned out I think all the young men quite enjoyed the drama and  it was quite a sturdy scaffold.  The market traders looked a little bemused as well.

Anyway, thanks to Joe and Sam at Alden Electrical Market Harborough, the Market hall is now a brighter, lighter place to shop.
