One year on 'Super Saturday' comes to Market Harborough
2nd August 2013
... Comments

Join in the fun from 10am to 9pm on Saturday 3 August.

This will mark one year since the most memorable day of the Olympics when GB Team favourites Jess Ennis, Mo Farah and Greg Rutherford won their Olympic Gold medals.

We are going to be reliving Harborough’s Torch Relay with our mini torch relay through the town with competition winners carrying an Olympic torch along the original route with Harborough’s own torchbearers.

You will be able to:

  • Try seated volleyball or take part in the beach volleyball competition
  • Visit one of the stalls by local sports clubs or community groups and watch their demonstrations
  • Kick back in one of the deckchairs around the sandpits and watch some of the highlights of a truly memorable summer of sport on the Big Screen
  • Market Harborough by the Sea 2013 is taking place from 3 to 7 August. Find out more about the Market Harborough by the Sea.
