Recent incidents of note

  • Between 9 and 11 October, a shed in Braybrooke Road and a moped was stolen from Station Road.

  • Between 7 and 10 October, a JCB was stolen from a Desborough farm.

  • During the evening of Wednesday 12 October, fuel was siphoned from a vehicle in Linley Drive, Desborough.

The county’s emergency planning was put to the test on Tuesday 11 October, in an exercise organised by Northamptonshire Local Resilience Forum. The exercise, which was held at police headquarters, involved staff and officers from Northamptonshire Police, Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service, the Environment Agency, military representatives, Anglian Water and the county, district and borough councils.
