Arts Fresco A Massive Hit In Market Harborough For The Seventh Year Running

Well it was a fantastic event yet again for Arts Fresco in Market Harborough.

Joules had all the atmosphere of the seaside along with deck chairs and a huge sand pit for making sand castles. I spent a good hour with my little girl doing just that.

The acts in the street were just as entertaining as ever with comedy and magic all combined to woo the crowds.

One of the hits was the digger set up in the High Street with a small seating cradle attached to the end of the arm giving children a fairground style ride whilst they were squirted with water by members of the team usnig super soaker water pistols.

Our local Market Harborough radio station HFM were there all day will live feeds to the studio to involve the crowds and give them a few moments of local fame. Moley was running back and forth giving live commentaries of all the things going on. Well done! Both to Moley and the whole team at HFM.

The biggest hit by far with both children and adults alike were the Cyclotron Robots with their sprung stilt which enabled them to jump almost 1m into the air.

I was fantastic to see Market Harborough full of people all enjoying themselves and the weather was on our side too.

The organisers and sponsors deserve a big thank you fom us all a great day.

Sponsors of the event were:

The Arts Council, Joules Clothing, Harborough District Council and Leicestershire County Council.
