Leicestershire police are asking people to watch the CCTV footage of an armed robbery in Lutterworth Leicestershire earlier this month. They hope that someone may come forward with information to help with their enquiries.
four people entered the shop on Church Street and threatened the staff in the Jewellers with what is believed to be an hand gun. It is beleived that three of the suspects were men but the fourth may have been a woman.
The investigation is being lead by Detective Inspector Dave Richardson commented. “This was obviously a terrifying incident for all those involved, both staff and customers in the jewellers.
“We’re asking people to take a close look at the CCTV and the still images of the suspects, do you recognise them? Did you see them in the area or perhaps you know who they are?
“If you do then we’d been keen to hear from you.”
After taking cash and jewellery they ran off in the direction of Bank Street where they dropped some of the jewellery this was collected later by investigating police.
