Over 200 coffees are being prepared, 20 varieties of homemade cake baked and 30 cows milked each week as a local couple sets out to ensure their new Harborough Innovation Centre based business is everyone’s cup of tea.
Over 40 businesses call it home, seven new businesses have been attracted to the area and 45 jobs created at Harborough Innovation Centre in 2013, a year which also saw companies based in the Centre expanding their expertise and launching 12 additional businesses.
The Spark Business Idea competition has arrived in Leicestershire and companies with new business and growth ideas are being urged to enter, pitch their ideas and vie for prizes worth over £37,000.

Spark, the Harborough initiative set up to generate jobs, encourage entrepreneurialism and boost the local economy, has fired into life with its first programme of free workshops aimed at helping businesses start out, create commercial success or take a growth step.
More than 30 businesses are now calling Harborough Innovation Centre home – bringing fresh talent to the district and generating scores of new jobs in the area.
