Burns’ Night commorates the life of the bard Robert Burns, who was born January 25th 1759. The day celebrates Burns’ contribution to Scottish culture. You may remember Burns’ best known work is “Auld Lang Syne” and of course the Haggis, neeps and tatties traditionally eaten in Scotland on Burns’ Night.
