St Giles Hospice has taken another step towards normal services following the Coronavirus crisis by re-opening eight more of its shops, including two stores in Lichfield.
Diners with an appetite for helping their local community can really make their meals matter by taking part in the new #DonateYourPlate campaign in support of St Giles Hospice.
Although commemorations and events have been scaled down, here in Lichfield District we are finding ways to give thanks to the Second World War generation at home.
A series of images have been projected onto the facade of Lichfield Cathedral. They carry messages of hope this Holy Week; centring on the story of Christ’s death and resurrection, uplifting messages of hope and a message of support for the NHS.
It with sadness that Lichfield Cathedral has to announce that during this time of national emergency it will no longer be open to the public for services, events or private prayer.
Families are being offered an opportunity to remember their loved ones and celebrate the lives they lived with an orange Gerbera at a special St Giles Hospice memorial garden in Whittington this spring.
