A fantastic venue, well laid out, with excellent facilities and good availablilty of on-site transport, essential for this large site. Volunteer assistants very keen, knowledgeable and willing to help. Well worth support through charitable donation.

We called in en route home from Chatsworth House. We expected to stay for an hour or so, but the extent and number of memorials to not only fallen armed forces members, but also the police, the fire service, lifeboat men and women etc. demands more detailed attention. New memorials are constantly being added. Even though we haven't lost friends or relatives in combat, it's impossible not to be moved by the sheer number of individuals remembered here. The volunteer staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. Entrance is free and the parking charge is only £3 per day, so you really can stay as long as you like. We took the paid for land train tour which helped to gain an appreciation of the size and scope of the site.

I have visited this place a few times now and on each visit it just gets better. The Memorial has grown and matured wonderfully. The facilities are good and cater for all abilities. Will be back again.

A very beautiful, but meaningful place to visit. Grounds very well thought out, and the purpose of planting in different areas very symbolic. We will certainly be back to see memorials we failed to visit today. Free entry and refreshments very good and reasonably priced.

Great place to visit if you have connections with the armed forces, shop sells some interesting quality items and the cafeteria looks nice although we didn't use it as only had an hour there. Would be great if they could get funding for a museum there to atract I wider audience.

A place for contemplation, poignant installations and the natural world combined within a rural landscape on the banks of two great rivers.

This stunning development is an active testament to all who served their country in every capacity through British history.

An honorable tribute.

We had a lovely day out yesterday 9th June, 1st we went round the Arboretum on the land train. Well worth the money. We then could go to the memorials that we really want to see, plan our route, you could say, all the volunteers were very helpful. There was some areas we would of liked to see, 5hrs wasn't long enough, we need to go again soon. It's a good place to visit and very interesting. The staff and volunteers do a great job. ☺️
