This is an amazing experience, thousands of motor cycles get together to remember the fallen. We partake in this every year & it just gets better & better. So much to see, visit & learn about years past & present & about the different battles that have occurred. Everybody is made welcome, old & young & being part of a motor cycle club is like having extended family, just like our servicemen & women.

Peaceful, nostalgic and thought provoking site. Spacious grounds very well maintained. There are numerous memorials to the dedication of hero's from lots of organisations other than military memorials. Everywhere is spotless from entrance, cafe, WC and exhibits.

This is a well maintained tribute that is enjoyable to walk around... lovely gardens and sculptures. Plenty of parking and a good cafe. We didn't use the restaurant, plenty of places to sit with a picnic. Excellent.

This place is amazing....what a wonderful idea to pay homage to those who fought for our freedom and for those who chose not to fight but selflessly helped those who chose to even though their own beliefs where against war.. ..a wonderful resting place.. so peaceful..and tranquil.

A beautiful place to visit, if you are disabled there are plenty of thoughtful ideas unless you have a dog with you, the dog walk is impassable for wheelchairs and decidedly challenging for scooters, dogs aren't allowed in the main building even being carried, if you are on a scooter they don't really like you going round the shop however the exit is through the shop, today's visit was marred by the attitude of the staff to compromise on my needs.

An excellent memorial.
I defy anyone not to get emotional when one realises how much blank space there is on the Wall, that will gradually fill up.

The national arboretum is very well placed just off the A38 it’s well signposted. There is a mixture of maturing trees and momorials to the armed forces set in the Staffordshire countryside. The only charge there is is for parking it cost us £3 the entrance is in a large building containing a shop, restaurant and reception. You have options to go on a guided tour or hire head phones we just used the free map and explored the expansive site. We said that we would revisit the site in a couple of years time all in all it’s well worth a visit

Really found this an enlightening experience. I was under the impression all the memorials were military oriented but there are many other tributes as well. The place is beautifully kept and obviously the people who work and volunteer there are very proud of their surroundings and treat everywhere with great respect. A must to do whilst you are there is a visit to the chapel at about 10.45am as everyday a service is held at 11am which is only a short service but very moving and a guide will give a really informative talk about the arboretum and how it came together.

The place is quite new, but extremely well set out, and it's amazing just how many different areas of the military there are

Visited several times. Although lots of cars never feels crowded. Lots of peaceful areas that is an amazing memorial. The grounds well maintained and paths easy to walk with plenty of seating. Lots of time for thought. Could spend a fair few hours wandering around. It is a stark reminder of those that we lost and that we have a place to remember
