Went for a memorial service of the sinking of the Lisbon Maru. Beautiful place, well laid out and maintained. Plenty of quiet spots to reflect on the horrors our service men and women went through. Reasonably priced restaurant and clean toilets. Definitely well worth a visit.

I loved all the monuments at the arboretum! We couldnt really do it all justice in 1 visit. I will recommend setting aside whole day to view the amazing memorial. Better still get an air B and B and make it a whole weekend event. Didn't know what to expect but pleasantly surprised by what we found. Very busy around the restaurant area but additional outside seating was great in fair weather. Will go back and spend more time as the grounds are so extensive. Thank you.
