With a gallery coffee lounge area, popular for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the shopping scene, overlooking the bar whilst enjoying the shortbread and range of coffees produced in-house, is a relief to those tired shopping feet.

The main restaurant area, with its original oak beams and 19th century features, offers a relaxed spacious arena to enjoy the fine fayre, such as freshly prepared brunch, which lends itself to the great Summer Prix Fixe Menu, great value at just £10.95 for two courses or £15.95 for three courses available through the week, ideal for that quick lunch or easy dinner.

Pamper yourself with afternoon tea at £13.00, great value and has a Scottish twist which gets everyone talking.

Their core menu is steak, but not just any steak, supplied by royal warrant holders - Aubrey Allen, they only stock British Beef and are Dairy free herds, it is evident that they know what a great steak should be, and how it is best cooked.

Vegetarians are catered for with dishes to tempt such as Porcini Mushroom Risotto, and the Arancini balls, served with green mayonnaise is enough to whet any appetite.
