Thank you Garrick for booking Leo Sayer he was brilliant tonight interacted with the audience from the start. A thoroughly enjoyable experience Leo can still sing as good as ever.

We have visited the Garrick a few times.

It's a Great little venue even on the very back row you feel as if you are part of the action.

The acoustics are great and as long as the play/entertainer/band you have gone to see are half decent you will have a great night. (The variety offered is brilliant)

The staff are really helpful, there was a group of seventeen of us went last time we visited, the staff tried to get the best deal possible.

Plenty parking as there is a multi storey car park to the rear of the theatre which is free in the evening.

This was our first visit to The Garrick to see "Ventoux". The theatre is perfectly positioned with easy parking next door in the multi storey and only a few minutes walk to the nearby restaurants. Ventoux was a quirky show with the two actors being close enough to almost touch. A gritty performance highlighting the dark and tragic side of Le Tour de France

Absolutely great night out at the Garrick watching 9 to 5. Great performance - the only downside ... two girls in front of us chatting and using their mobile phones. When asked to be quiet received a mouthful. Should have just got a steward. Still, a good night out with great friends in a lovely little theatre.

Nice venue but need to take out a loan for a round of drinks. Way too expensive.

We visited the Garrick to see Legally Blonde by the Lichfield Youth Theatre and were thoroughly entertained by a brilliant cast and a brilliant production. Lots of set/scene changes means they have a lot of volunteers working behind the scenes who are just as talented as those young actors in front of the curtain. A superb production. We go to lots of the Youth Theatre productions and they are all excellent and as good as anything on New York's Broadway!

We visited the Garrick to see this musical, performed by Sutton Coldfield musical Theatre Company - this is one of the best shows I have seen for a long time - the cast were enthusiastic, and the performance was outstanding - I have seen more polished performances at the Hippodrome and in the West End, but none so enjoyable - a standing ovation for am dram says a lot about this show - "stand up" performances all round

However,please support these venues.

Its a small intimate venue. Male toilets could be bigger.
Refreshments need a Better choice.

Will return when in town, depending on show.

We are blessed to have a theatre not too far from where we live. The shows that are performed there are top shows . It's great when a show you want to see comes there and you don't have to travel to London. We went to see the Invincible . It was only a small cast but the actors were very good. The theatre it self small but it is adequate and comfortable . There is a bar area which is nice it serves drinks and food.

My wife and I run a business caring for the elderly. We bought 9 clients to the panto at Christmas. They all had a great time. The theatre is lovely and the staff were very helpful.

Been to the Garrick several times. Nice theatre. Of course a lot of it depends on the act/event you are seeing to create the atmosphere. Always found the sound and the view are good. Intend to go back for some more events.

Downsides... some rows in the stalls have an metal pillar at the end (going to the boxes above) so best avoid the aisle seat. There is AFAIK after many visits only one male toilet and that is on the very top floor. Always long queues. The bar and café could to with an bit of a jolt. Last time no coffee as the machine had broken.(in any case they were short of ceramic cups so it would have been paper ones.) Then the cold drinks were served in dirty glasses.... apparently the washer "always does that" Like many we use other venues for pre theatre food and drink. A pity as with a bit of effort it could be a really good venue.

I went to the Garrick theatre to see a show that was on during Half Term with my daughter. I've been to the Garrick a number of times now and even though it is quite a small theatre, I find it to be one of the better ones throughout the Midlands.

This was my first time to the Garrick Theatre, going to see Jimbo with my wife and her Lichfield living sister and her chap! It is a lovely traditional theatre, welcoming and with a couple of bars although maybe an extra member of bar staff would help. We were right at the back but we didn't feel too high or too far away. Even without large screens the view and acoustics were fine and the show was great....Jimbo at his riotous best. A great night. One has to patient on exiting, however, as there are a lot of people all trying to get down two staircases.

A fab and funny evening at a wonder performance of The Jungle Book. Good value for money in a shoe little theatre. My only criticism was it was very warm in the auditorium.

This theatre is a delight to visit. The green room is a great place to rendezvous with friends before the performance begins. The auditorium is large enough to facilitate a grand performance whether panto or musicals. But small enough to provide intimacy for stand up and plays. A great range of entertainment available. A walk round the historic city of Lichfield before the show will set you up for whatever show you have booked to see. Enjoy.

We travelled from Shropshire to watch a play and I must say this venue is brilliant for what it is.
At the top end of town with good parking near by and plenty of bars and restaraunts to use pre theatre.
Plenty of good toilets and disabled access on all floors ,the view from seats is fine and with green room bars it suits all.
Ice cream seemed to be the thing everyone was going for all ages were consuming it during the interval.
We wouldn't hesitate to visit again for another show.

We often go to the theatre and having previously visited the Lichfield Garrick, we looked forward to another visit. The staff were quite attentive, the refreshment facilities were good and the show, starring our friends daughter, was absolutely terrific! What a star she is! Our seats in the auditorium were comfortable and it looked like all seats around the theatre would have a good view. Only criticism..... running the gauntlet of smokers as we entered the theatre. No problem if people wish to smoke, but didn't really appreciate having to push our way through the haze! Perhaps the theatre could consider somewhere for the smokers? Nevertheless, good company, good trip, great show!

First visit to the Garrick Theatre and what a delight it was. Much thought went into design that we haven't enjoyed before. Different doors depending on which side of the theatre one is sitting-simple but very effective. Offset seating so, as is often the case with my wife who is vertically challenged, one is not observing the back of someone else's head and/or bobbing around to get a better view, or indeed any view, of the stage.
Comfortable seats giving a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours laughing along with, and at, Lee Hurst and Jason Patterson, two excellent funnymen. Well worth the visit.
