A nice small to medium theatre, with friendly staff, reasonably priced refreshments, and multiple options for parking. Located within the local shopping area, so plenty of restaurants etc close by.

We went to see the pantomime, Cinderella, mid morning today and we were blown away. The costumes, the stage, the wonderful flying coach and horse and an outstanding performance. We were at the signed performance and my gosh our interpretor was absolutely fantastic.
Our Cinderella had only that morning replaced the original and she smashed it. The humour and audience participation was wonderful and as you would expect the ugly sisters gave a hilarious performance and the change in their costumes were unbelievable. Not something you'd expect to see on the cat walk though!!!

The Garrick staff were also amazing, friendly, helpful and were very on hand.
Please keep up the good work and making people happy.

I love live theatre so hope this venue can survive. Lots going on each month so go and pay a visit. Tired and tatty seating plus a TINY bar and eating area need improvement though. Management need to learn from the New Vic, Newcastle under Lyme for pre-show food and drink

Fabulous theatre. Parking was easy in over spill bus carpark. 2 min walk. Went to the small theatre. Excellent production of A Shoddy Christmas Carol. Great small space, so good views from any seat. Good leg room.

What a fabulous afternoon we've had at A Shoddy Christmas Carol. The actors were absolutely hilarious, please go and see the show, you won't be disappointed. They even got me on stage as a stand in ghost. Thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed all the way through. Can't wait for the next one. Keep up the comedy it's so good for the soul ! Thanks Mark

Me and my friend recently went to see A shoddy Christmas Carole. To be fair, with only three actors taking part, we were not quite sure what to expect. However, the actors were just first class and never laughed so much!! The story was expertly written and our attention never wondered. Thank you for such a lovely Christmas experience, it was fab and would highly recommend. It took place in the studio theatre and was actually so much nicer being a small theatre. Brilliant, thank you 🤗🎄xx
