Visited with my husband to see Mercury (a Queen Tribute Band). We chose seats about 4 rows back in the circle and we had an excellent view. Mercury were very talented and performed really well singing lots of Queen's popular songs. Just one criticism, on some songs it was difficult to hear the lead singer above the loud music, but apart from that the evening was enjoyable.

We went to this lovely intimate theatre to see 'Horrible Histories' and what a great time was had! Such a funny show that harked back to the music hall. Two witty and outrageously funny actor/comics did themselves and the show justice. A smart, tidy and cosy theatre added to the overall experience;we'll be back!

The Garrick is a good venue for a visit. It has a licensed bar and coffee lounge and snacks are available. They also have a small Studio theatre. Staff are friendly. The theatre is situated next to a multi-storey covered car park so minimal walking required. It is also convenient for shops through the adjacent arcade.

First time here, it’s a lovely theatre and love there’s parking so close by! (Pay&Display). Visited with 3 children (7,4,3). As soon as we entered the door we were greeted by a friendly man who pointed out the directions for us, toilets were clean! And the lady that took our tickets was friendly too. Ice cream was available during the interval (£2.50 mini tub), theatre itself was lovely, comfy seats and boosters for the little ones. Milkshake Live Show was brill, all the milkshake characters that my girls liked. After the show was no trouble to exit the theatre, was out in afew minutes. Shall definitely book other shows at this theatre.

Superb evening spent at the Garrick theatre. Welcomed from the moment we went in. Friendly Staff, good facilities and the Counterfeit Stones were simply brilliant. They had a superb songlist, great musical renditions, costumes and of course a touch of cheeky fun to their act. Sounded so realistic and with great dance moves from ' Nick' Jagger. Would go again without a doubt.

We went see the Counterfeit Stones and it was brilliant. The Garrick combines intimacy at the same time as attracting great Acts. Even if you aren't a Stones Fan you will enjoy the Counterfeit Stones! Faithful to the music with their own sort of charisma on Stage. Looking forward to the next time they come to Lichfield!!!

went to the garrick last night to see a fantastic tribute group called bye bye baby
a tribute to frankie valli & 4 seasons
they were absolutely wonderful in their own tribute way
the garrick was virtually full with very few seats empty
the backing musicians were equally as good

We love any trip to this great little theatre. Ok so the Lady killers wasn't the best show but for the price, the fact its an amateur dramatic show and a general pleasant night out we were happy. If you want polished shows, travel into Birmingham and triple your ticket price + parking.

Went along to this show as we're massive fans of the original movie, we've previously enjoyed an amateur production of the Graham Linehan version at Sutton Coldfield too.

Annoyingly, the theatre chose to let the local choir group practice in the upper foyer and block the door to our seats, they still hadn't moved with 5 mins to the curtain so we had to find our way round via the dress circle to our seats in the box.

This cast in this version struggled remembering lines and talked over one another due to missing their cues on several occasions, the director also chose to mimic the staircase with a piece of faux balustrade in the middle of the set - but this became quite an irritating distraction to be honest!

They struggled to get many laughs from the audience and a couple near us left after the second half started, not sure why didn't just leave at the interval. I know its only amdram so I hope I'm not being too harsh...

My Husband and I went to the Garrick to watch South Staffordshire College do their performance in the studio.
We had a great time and all the students were amazing.
Lovely venue, and we enjoyed it so much I'm going back tonight.
