Farm Boy performed in Barton under Needwood absolutely BRILLIANT.
Great pity tickets could not be bought locally. Takes one hour on the bus to reach Lichfield, which only runs hourly, and Box Office has limited opening hours.

Was pleasantly surprised by the venue. Clean, modern-looking, and with a comfortable feel. The bars were well stocked, tea and coffee were available too, and they had a reasonable selection of crisps and m snacks. The auditorium was comfortable and easily viewable from every location, without the need for opera glasses. We both left the show (which was okay) planning our next visit.

A lovely little theatre, quite small and intimate, but with a friendly atmosphere! Also, there is a very useful multistorey carpark immediately next door!

Lichfield Garrick Theatre is a pleasant venue and very well placed in the city centre. However you are traveling to get to the theatre you will find easy transport links. Lichfield City railway station is just a short walk from the venue. The main bus station is even closer, and there is also a multistorey car park nearby too. I have always enjoyed the events I have been to at the Garrick.

Went to see Totally Tina .. fantastic show, superb. Lovely theatre,.Our evening was spoiled however, by a member of the audience berating my daughter for using the disabled toilet., and "avoiding queing"little did she know this was our first night out after months of recuperation following major surgery. My daughter has to use disabled toilets and has a radar key, because she doesn't have a disability that is "seen" she was subjected to this rancour and it left me feeling sad and angry in equal measure at the nastiness and lack of tolerance. The Staff were fantastic and apologised, but they were not responsible.

My husband and I have been to The Garrick Theatre several times over the years. We live in Birmingham but like to come to Lichfield to see shows, we stay in a hotel for a couple of days and enjoy all that Lichfield has to offer.

The Garrick Theatre is a nice size creating a pleasant ambiance. From arrival at the theatre you are seated quickly and at the end of a show you are out quickly too. The staff are friendly and helpful and the seats are comfortable.

The shows we have seen are comedy, music and dancing. The lighting and sound are of excellent quality. There is a cafe and bar area although we have not used these. Last night we saw Andy Parsons who was great and we quite often see Talon. an Eagles tribute band, we are returning in November to see Talon.

A great theatre in every respect … our theatre of choice.
