Went to see Jonny Cole on the 26th June 2026, during the heatwave. Temperature was very hot for the UK and my husband did call the theatre to see if the show was going ahead. He was assured that it was, and there were fans everywhere, to keep people cool. Yes, there were fans in the bar area and many fans in the auditorium, but they were fans people had bought with them. There was little to no air movement and as we were in the circle - and hot air rises - it was not the most comfortable evenings entertainment. Just wish they’d said to bring your own fan to be honest. Was better in the second half, as we grabbed some of the fliers for other shows and improvised a fan - along with lots of other audience members, so there was a tiny bit more air movement from that. Have to say although they can’t control the weather it certainly has an impact on the enjoyment of the show and perhaps they need to think of a better solution for both the people on the stage and the poor audience.

Great show however it was so hot inside the theatre. There didn't appear to be any air-conditioning and both the audience and the entertainers struggled with the heat.
I wasn't very pleased that, after standing in the queue at the bar for ice creams that were advertised on top of the bar, I was sent to another queue somewhere else. Why have an advertising board on top of the bar?

Valentines night with Totally Tina what more could you wish for . Yet another entertaining night from Justine and her remarkable band and dancers . A sellout crowd were on there feet dancing to the sounds of Tina Turner . Having seen this show on numerous occasions it never ceases to amaze me . I cannot wait for the next show

Not an unlucky night for us as we were at An Evening Without Kate Bush . This show is a tribute with a twist ,the twist being the humour she brings to this wonderful show . A full house were thoroughly entertained. Sarah Louise Young is amazing and if you are a Bushy fan go and see the show with an open mind ,you will be glad you did . At the end of the show this talented lady is then in the foyer waiting to greet her audience, which is a nice touch .As always the staff were excellent and helpful. There is a car park close by so that is sorted as well (about 5 minutes walk ). All in all another great night of music and laughter from a very talented Lady

This is our first visit to this theatre and I must say I was very impressed. A great atmosphere and equally great staff help with this . Drinks are available alcoholic or soft .
Just my Imagination( a Temptations tribute ) were performing here tonight and what a show it was . These five guys took you through the history of in my opinion the best Motown band ever and they were so good it was untrue . The choreography was amazing, they had definitely done there homework. They took me back to being twelve again when I fist heard them. I had the privilege to see the Temptations and these guys transported me there they were so good . If you are a Motown fan or a fan of good music go see these incredibly talented guys .I cannot thank them enough for making me feel young again .I will be seeing them again definitely

We have been to this theatre many times, it's good value for money, a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. My only complaint is that the seats are somewhat cramped and a little uncomfortable, but I am 6 feet 5 inches tall?

Visited yesterday for a great show paying tribute to Morecambe and Wise.
The Garick has had a lovely refurbishment since my last visit (and it was already good then). Front of House staff are lovely and there are bars on each floor together with a lift for those with limited mobility. You can order pre interval drinks in advance and they are left on a shelf with a copy of your receipt my interval pint however had been 'nicked' and I only had a soggy receipt where it had been - No problem sorted out by the great bar staff within 2 minutes.
A great little theatre 😊

Good venue. Recently watched the show Eric and Ern, the theatre is not over large (stalls, circle and four boxes) but can still pack them in, and the stage makes the perfomances more in intermate. Staff and amenities excellent.

Lovely small theatre with a wide range of shows BUT Friday night's superb The Importance of Being Oscar (5/6/26) was marred by the bleedthrough noise from the bar opposite. Why does it have to be so loud and why hasn't something been done?

My wife booked ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ Here to introduce our 2 year old to theatre. Wow what an experience it was for him. He loved every minute of the show. It got a bit loud when the tiger was introduced but that is based on the crowd but he was so happy watching the show. I highly recommend going here for the children’s shows. We will definitely be back again soon. Well done to staff and performers

On Saturday 23rd May we saw Blood Brothers the musical. This was the 3rd time we had seen it, the first being in London in 1983. It was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, as good as any musical we’ve seen in the West End. As a wheelchair user I always sit at the back of the stalls from where we have an excellent view. The second floor is easily reached by the lift from the Ground floor. The front of house staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We are very lucky to have this wonderful theatre on our doorstep
