Go at least once a year and the theatre is incredible! Accessible for those with wheelchairs or limited access if mentioned while booking, great front of house team who are enthusiastic and helpful. Prices can be expensive for a local production, but the shows always deliver and are a lovely family tradition. Would also take time to see youth performances with great upcoming talent. Decent size for big crowds, and does seat quite a few people compared to other local theatres

Came to the Lichfield Garrick Theatre on Saturday to see Rhys James. We pre-ordered our drinks, and collection was really easy.
Despite the show being sold out, there were only short queues inside the theatre. Itâs a relatively small theatre, but there are plenty of bars and toilet facilities, which made a big difference compared with some older, larger theatres Iâve visited.
Really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back to see other performances in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices for drinks and snacks were more reasonable than I expected too. A bit expensove for soft drinks, but still cheaper than any cinema I've been to recently.
The seating is a little snug if you're over 6ft, but they are comfortable, with a good view of the stage.

Nice place friendly staff The play I saw was Private Peaceful a solo performer who excelled The play itself was funny sad and very poignant If it ever comes to a town near you donât miss it

My partner had recently had a knee replacement and unfortunately the seating was unable to cater for him to stretch his leg. This was explained to the staff on duty and they immediately found alternative seating and I can't thank them enough. The whole evening was fantastic thanks to the brilliant staff.

The Garrick has always been a family favourite for pantomimes and much more. Every year the Garrick out do them selves with there phemononal pantomimes and shows they offer throughout the year. Why go any place else when we have such a treasure so local. Furthermore the Garrick have many provided opportunities for the younger generation to get stuck in to theatre now even expanding to Burntwood working alongside the council and creative Burntwood to provide creative clubs for teens. All the staff at the Garrick are lovely from the front of house like Heidi to the community officer and Burntwood director Sophie always happy to help and support.

We went to see Gary Delaney on 22/07/2027 as I have terminal illness I was on a mobility scooter which decided to breakdown. The Garrick staff went out of their way and loaned me a wheelchair to get into the Theatre and even escorted me and my wife to are seats to watch a brilliant shoe by Gary to only then help us out of the theatre to where my wife could collect me and the staff kindly return the wheelchair back to the reception for us and turned what was a upsetting experience into a night to remember. So we would like to give the Garrick and their staff a big thank you for your kindness and understanding in our hour of need. Mr & Mrs Welch

A lovely really friendly Theatre in the heart of Lichfield City. There is a lift of those less able to climb stairs. And wheelchair access also.

Went to see Jonny Cole on the 26th June 2026, during the heatwave. Temperature was very hot for the UK and my husband did call the theatre to see if the show was going ahead. He was assured that it was, and there were fans everywhere, to keep people cool. Yes, there were fans in the bar area and many fans in the auditorium, but they were fans people had bought with them. There was little to no air movement and as we were in the circle - and hot air rises - it was not the most comfortable evenings entertainment. Just wish theyâd said to bring your own fan to be honest. Was better in the second half, as we grabbed some of the fliers for other shows and improvised a fan - along with lots of other audience members, so there was a tiny bit more air movement from that. Have to say although they canât control the weather it certainly has an impact on the enjoyment of the show and perhaps they need to think of a better solution for both the people on the stage and the poor audience.
