After a £5 donation for 2 adults it’s an amazing place of worship to wander around. The floating moon was an added bonus. Try to also visit the free herb garden and check out the surrounding houses amazing history.

After a bit of confusion regarding ‘visitors welcome’ hours on the Sunday we were in Lichfield, we managed to get in and explore. Shortly thereafter we were invited to take a quiet seat and experienced a beautiful Evensong service, the lovely choral voices bringing sacred sounds to match the amazing architecture and craftsmanship of this beautiful house of worship and community.

Entry is free but a donation is the correct way to proceed.
Beautiful architecture, amazing history and the place where the more prominent people in Lichfield are rightly so honoured.
A couple of hours to be amazed, a totally sublime moment, a grandiose cathedral that is part of the best parts in history of England.
The heart of the community, and at present a large moon to sit and gaze at.
Wonderful experience.

Well worth a visit to the Cathedral which in it self is a fantastic building but with the Moon exhibit comes alive.

Visit before October 31st.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Great to see so many young people in the cathedral. The ‘moon’ is an incredible structure and was well worth the visit.

A beautiful cathedral. The stone work is absolutely wonderful. First time visiting, despite being in Lichfield on numerous occasions. Stained-glass depicting the cathedral was great. A little bit of maintenance work going on inside but nevertheless, fantastic.
