Was here for the Grub Club that runs on the last Wednesday of the month. It is a great place to hold the Grub Club, plenty of space and lovely grassed areas to sit and kids to play.

I had a guided tour round the Cathedral and ive got to say the Lady who did the tour was fantastic. Her knowledge of the Cathedral was first class. Because i use a folding walker every few minutes she did a rest stop and pointed out everything. She was really brilliant thank you.

Approach on foot from Beacon St and the view of the Cathedral is breath taking (especially with a blue sky background). Entry is free but you do need a ticket to be counted in. As the cathedral is a very public place now, private prayer in St. Chad's chapel. Guides on entry.

We diverted our trip from Bracknell to Leeds to explore this Gothic cathedral and so worth the effort. We had to wait to get in as a funeral was occurring. After ~1300 years still an active place of worship. The stained glass is magnificent as is its intricate 'carved' interior and exterior.

This cathedral is one of the nicest looking I have been to. It has some very nice patterns and sculptures at the front of the building.
