Don't miss this magnificent Cathedral in the Midlands. An hour will reward the visitor for a lifetime. Be sure to lift all of the literature on display as there's plenty to read later. Good shop, donations accepted for the church's upkeep.

Beautiful cathedral that you can spend a few hours at in a visit if you go to Lichfield. I went for an evening event so I didn't get to enjoy seeing the cathedral inside during the daytime. There is a lovely coffee shop nearby called Chapter's where you can get refreshments. One of the best cathedrals I've visited in the UK.

Set in an attractive unspoilt cathedral close, this beautiful building is well worth a visit. The three spires are very distinctive and the stone carvings of berobed characters on the outside of the building are in wonderful condition. The stained glass is stunning and the vaulted roof spectacular. (Having just read the novel The Pillars of the Earth about the people who built such buildings, it is even more awe inspiring)
The evening we visited there was the extra treat of a light show. The juxtaposition of the modern with the ancient worked brilliantly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic architecture. Interesting subjects for the events, saw the Space event celebrating the landing on the moon. Enjoyed it. Would recommend it for Children who are space aware!
