Leon Stephens is a great accountant, but he is more than that. He speaks a language that makes it very easy to understand. No accountant speak, but common sense solutions to problems you may have in the day to day running of your business.

I am not a client of Brookes Stephens, but am happy to champion them. I encountered Leon Stephens when he was guest speaker at a Wire meeting I attended, at that point in time I had just, only a couple of weeks before, set up my business and had no clue about tax and accountancy. Leon summarised all areas in his talk, made sense of it all to someone who does not understand how it works and left me feeling more capable of making the right decisions and keeping the correct details. On this basis alone I would recommend that anybody looking for a first or new accountant should definitely give them a ring.

As far as Accountants go I would highly recommend Leon and his team. I have tried various Accountants in the past, but Leon is different. Different in the way he talks to me, approaches issues and concerns, he wants to understand what I do and how I work to ensure that he can do the best job for me, regarding Tax & VAT.
