Lovely location in pretty Islip. This pub is a very frindly place in which we had lunch recently. The menu consists of food that would please most people and it is cooked really well. Food was also nicely presented and not overpriced. The atmosphere seemed a little lacking but that could have just been due to the time of day. I would definitely recommend trying The Woolpack.

Dinner was good. One in the party had the lamb shank and it was overcooked however was rectified. Always seems to be a very long wait for the card machine so only. 4*

Good location with parking, easy to get a mid afternoon dinner booking. Good 3 course option Inc roast for £18. Shame they now charge 50p extra for a Yorkshire with non beef roasts. They have also dropped lamb from the menu. Great service and the foI'd was spot on, fishcake staraters are recommended

Staff were friendly. Environment was nice. Food was okay. It looked better than it tasted. Food was a bit bland. It was quite cold in the restaurant. Probably a nice place to go for an after work drink.

Really nice bar food. Didn't try the full on restaurant. Children welcome in the bar and games room til 8.30. Drinks were good. There is a pokestop here. Free WiFi by the cloud. 48 hour EA mooring on the Nene across the road. Loads of parking.
