Christmas day dinner review
First, we are always grateful for the staff giving up part of their Christmas day to serve. The staff were attentive and helpful
We've eaten Sunday roasts here a lot,so expectations were high
The main plate arrived and was disappointingly small with roast potatoes, Turkey and stuffing on the plate with strictly ONE chipolata pig in blanket per person
The veg was disappointing with just Brussels and braised cabbage. The Brussels could have been made special with pacetta
No carrots, broccoli nor parsnips, the dinner was smaller than the usual Sunday roast which normally has all these po plus Yorkshire puddings
Desert and the gifted mince pies were nice

A really lovely evening spent at the Woolpack 😁 it was a little busy with families - the food was excellent especially the roasts 😀 service was a little slow at times. Overall we will be visiting again soon 👍

What a lovely pub. Went there to have a quick business meeting. Never been before. Friendly barmaid. Great relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back to try their food.

My partner and I ALWAYS enjoy eating here . The food is never a disappointment. Staff are sp friendly and bend over backwards for their customers. Our freind couldn't make her meal so we asked for a takeaway and gladly obliged. See you again thanku 💓

On my second visit to the TWI the food was absolutely fantastic, i had the blade of beef which was perfection with plenty of flavour, a big 10 out of 10 for me, will definitely continue to eat at this establishment . The staff were friendly helpful and courteous an all round great experience i recommend the Woolpack inn to everyone. Thankyou Shona for taking such care of us and compliments to the chefs.

Large restaurant with a nice spin on traditional pub menu. Downstairs has nice traditional ambiance, upstairs is fairly standard dining room.
The cottage room was clean and comfy but a bit tight. Off street parking was cramped due to an event. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Stayed for 2 nights, the accommodation was fine - the food in the pub was outstanding - we had an evening meal and 2 breakfasts and was superb. Helen who served us at breakfast was a legend.

Visited at lunch time. Good, prompt service. Enjoyed my fish finger sandwich. My first pint was off, which I think they should have noticed but once I pointed it out they quickly changed it and the new pint was very good.

Went here twice during a weekend visit. 6 of us dined here. Great food and a wide range of beer. Would recommend a meal here.
